Anime Final Strike Best Units (Update 5)

This best units tier list reflects early Update 5 community DPS data and long-running role value. Use it with Traits and farm support — a SS carry without cash generation still leaks.

SS tier

Baldy, King of Curses, Leona (Incarnate) with passives, Falcon (Reincarnated), Shanks (Conqueror), Toeji (Sorcerer Killer) Spear, Hero Slayer (Monster), Berserker (Vengeance). These names dominate raw damage charts and crush Raid phase checks when traits land.

S+ and S tiers

Toeji Katana, Gojoe (Strongest Sorcerer), Cyborg (Advanced), Naname (Overtime), Ace (Prisoner), Majesty (Actuation), plus S names like Dark Captain, Jolis, Benomaru, Vasto Lorde, Whitebeard (Captain), Smoker, Todo. Excellent if you missed SS banners.

A and B tiers

Includes Fire Hashira (Aflame), Naroto (Sage Master), Vesh variants mid-board depending on form, Wind Prince, Minoto, Arrow, Tornado, and other solid evolved Mythics. Still worth building for Story and mid Infinite.

C and D tiers

Lower DPS floors or slow ramp units. Fine as temporary fillers. Avoid heavy Perfect Stat Engrams here unless you love the character.

Role caveat — farm units

Yuneko and Namu may not headline pure DPS sheets but belong in nearly every Infinite and long raid setup. Treat them as S-tier economy even if a damage table buries them. Ice Admiral remains a starter and mid-game control staple (starter units).

Secret and evolution context

Vesh and Vasto Lorde style Secrets still define flex slots — see secret units. Evolution paths can catapult mid units; read evolve units before benching someone with a strong evo.

How to spend gems using this list

1. Redeem codes.
2. Pull toward gaps in SS/S+ or missing farm unit (summoning).
3. Craft evo mats via raids.
4. Roll traits (reroll traits).
5. Slot comps in team builder.

Mode notes

• Story: Any S-tier evolved squad clears with good placement.
• Infinite: Economy + sustain > peak DPS.
• Raids: Burst SS names shine; bring backup AoE.

Meta will drift — reconcile with latest updates and the Tier List Hub. Rankings are a compass, not a prison.

Ownership-adjusted ranking method

Score each owned unit by current stats, trait, evolution state, and mode need, then compare to unowned SS names. Sometimes a fully built S-tier beats an unbuilt SS. Publish that ranking on your Discord note for friends who ask “what should I pull?” Update it after each evolve. When Update 5 charts list Baldy-like threats, add a column for “do I have mats?” so chase goals stay realistic. Share ownership-adjusted lists in party chat to set raid expectations honestly.
